Where do you study best? Find your study spot and use it! Each hall have places set aside and are often better then rooms. Many areas have WiFi for your laptops too! |

Try your best to attend class. Attendance can pay off even if you think you are not getting anything from it. Teachers are more sympathetic to classes where students attend and try. |
| |
If you disagree with a teacher you can still show respect. If you would like to have a discussion it is best to have it after class instead of during class time. |
| |
Check your classes before classes start. Look up where your classes are and go find them on campus. This can be fun and very helpful that first day. |
| |
Be careful registering for early 8 am classes. These may be more difficult then you imagine to get up for and can cause poor attendance. If you are a morning person then you will not have a problem but be aware. |
| |
Study groups! We can not stress how nice it is to have a group from a class meet and discuss class topics. Usually before class you can schedule a study session in the Library but be careful on timing because it can be packed and hard to find a table. |
| |
Hard work pays off big dividends. You are not in High School anymore. This is college and your learning and success here can pay off for you big time. Make it count and do the best that you can. |
