Cuicacalli means the House of Song. Young people visited the house/school as part of their curriculum, to prepare them for careers.

Cuicacalli is the newest resident hall at San Diego State University. Residents in both Tacuba and Tepeyac enjoy The Dining Room which is right above the entrance to both of the halls. The suites each have 8 residents that share a common area. Cuicacalli is aimed more at returning residents. If you are a resident make sure you spend time in the common areas like pool, grass areas and volleyball court to meet more people other then your suitemates. Hall Councils focus on getting suites our of their rooms and meet others. Hall Councils will be forming after you move in. Check signs and announcements for information on info sessions and elections. Hall Council is open to all residents so don't be shy! Come check it out!
