Tips for Eating Healthier
FruitIf you are worried about the Freshman 15 or want to feel better you may want to focus on your diet. Below are tips for eating healthier @State. Email us to add a tip to the list.

  • When eating at The Dining Room do not eat as much as you possibly can. Eat approximately 80% of what you would need to fill yourself.
  • Drink lots of water! Cut back on soft drinks that contain a lot of sugar.
  • Make sure you are having a variety of foods and not getting the same thing everyday. Try including plenty of vegetables, fruits, and whole grain products. (Wheat Bread at Sub Connection)
  • 5 a day! Eat those fruits and veggies at The Dining Room because it’s important to eat a wide variety of colorful orange/yellow, red, green, white, and blue/purple vegetables and fruit every day. (Naked Juices in Market)
  • Start your day with breakfast. Prepare some cereal or yogurt with fruit in it. Fill your tank in the morning helps you concentrate during those early classes.
