Wakeboarding Classes at SDSU Printer FriendlyAddress: 1001 Santa Clara pl San Diego (Google Maps View) Directions: Click on the link above for more detail. Take the 8 West to the Mission Bay Dr. Exit. Rating: Hey do you know how awesome out school is? So awesome that we have a wakeboarding class, as well as others, at the Mission Bay Aquatic Center. You can get a credit and have fun each week by joining this class. It is one unit and the fees are a little over 200 bucks for the whole semester. It is worth it if you know how much wakeboarding costs... they don't make any money off this. I had my own boat in Mission Bay and I still took the class to improve and have a good time. Any semester is ok to take it. I would suggest the Fall semester but Spring can be just as good. Depending on what the weather does each year will depend. The class is normally with 40 students a handful of drivers/instructors and some great equipment. Bring your own if you want though. I have been wakeboarding for 8 years now and riding on the Air Natiques improved my riding a lot. Most of the instructors know what they are doing. Some don't but thats ok just ask the ones that do if you need help. Everyone in the class has fun and trying new tricks is what its all about. The beginners are fun to root on while they are constantly learning new tricks. Overall its a great class with a great setup. You get enough time on the water for a good workout and the water is the best in the morning. Take it! Carpool with others if you don't have a car. You can sign up for the first weeks of the semester at anytime. Author: Keith Petersen
