Directions: From Interstate 8: Take interstate 8 East for just over 10 miles and exit to El Cajon Blvd. Go 3 blocks and make a right on Washington Avenue. Follow Washington thru El Cajon where it turns into Dehesa Road, continue on Dehesa Road for 5 miles, past the Sycuan Golf Resort entrance. Turn right to stay on Dehesa Road at the Harbison Canyon intersection, and follow the signs to Sycuan. From Highway 94: Go East on 94 past Spring Valley until Highway 94 turns into Jamacha Road. Continue straight and turn right on Willow Glen Road. Continue on Dehesa Road for 5 miles, past the Sycuan Golf Resort entrance. Turn right to stay on Dehesa Road at the Harbison Canyon intersection, and follow the signs to Sycuan.

Over the last 11 years of living in San Diego, I have played at just about every card room and casino in the county. Sycuan casino is by far the best when it comes to game selection, dealers, floor managers, staff and other players. In addition to it's relatively close proximity to the city, Sycuan's Poker Room is also smoke free! The Poker Room offers its guests the perfect environment to enjoy all of the great Omaha Hi/Lo, Limit and No Limit Texas Hold 'Em and 7 Card Stud action. Every day they have multiple scheduled and sit & go tournaments, and promotions are featured daily and offer non-stop fun. Poker has seen a tremendous resurgence in popularity as of late and you won't find a better experience than at Sycuan.

Tip 1 If you're looking for No Limit Holdem action on a weekday, plan on being there before 5pm so you won't have to wait long.
Tip 2 If you want to take advantage of the FREE tourneys on Mondays, make sure you register about 1.5 hour before start time. Seat cards are given on a first-come-first-served basis, and the poker room tend to run out of seat cards early during free tournament day.
Tip 3 If you're playing any of the cash games, don't bluff too much. Lots of players could smell it a mile away :-)
