Commonly known as IB, IB is as close to Mexico as you'll want to get without actually being IN Mexico. The water is generally more dirty due to the fact that it is closer to the end of the Tijuana river. The waves at IB are above average and tend to be more on the heavy side. I have seen many a surfboard break surfing here. And I even picked up my first surfing scar here. The town of IB is not outstanding on any normal day, but there is frequently festivals being held here (film festivals mostly).
