Either called Sunset Cliffs or just Sunset. It is a nice place to end a date to watch the sunset. There is only two sandy beaches on the area that is considered sunset cliffs. They both require a little hike down the cliff, and can be very rewarding if you happen to catch them on an uncrowded day (most of winter). The waves along this large stretch of coast are exceptional on the right swell, stay away from low tide here and this can be one of the best breaks in San Diego. It generally has to be in the 4 foot range or above to break good. You may also go cliff jumping here. I know a of a couple spots and I am sure there are a few more if you look. I wouldn't recommend jumping off a cliff you don't know is ok to jump off, but you can find people jumping on most summer days.
