Another upscale area, even more so than La Jolla in certain parts I would say. Del Mar is an awesome beach to visit. You can find nice beaches all over here, just go look. And along with the good beaches you can find many good surf spots, from nice crumbling reefs to heavy back breaking beachbreak (Marine street). I think it is a fun town to explore, but it does take a few times to really get the feel of where things are.
