SoCal Explorers is a social outings and adventure tours organization based here in San Diego, offering different activities and events every week!

Aimed at newcomers to San Diego, SoCal Explorers is a great way to meet others, while doing awesome activities and seeing beautiful places. Ran by students and twenty-somethings that moved here from other states and countries, the adventurous and energetic staff have a lot to offer. Their diverse interests and vibrant personalities really make the organization stand out. Also, the diverse crowd that SoCal Explorers appeals to, from international students to first-year dorm residents to twenty-somethings recently relocated to San Diego, guarantees that you'll meet some interesting and fun people!

All of SoCal Explorers' tours include transportation, which is perfect for freshman, international students, and anyone else here without a car (or anyone who just doesn't want to deal with driving around and parking!) They have pickups from SDSU's and UCSD's campus, as well as Pacific Beach.

Some examples of activities SoCal Explorers does:
- Surfing lessons (~$70 for all-day, 4 hours on the water!)
- Sightseeing trips around San Diego (~$40, events like hiking Cowles Mountain, eating at Gordon Biersch, then spending afternoon at La Jolla Shores, or maybe Mt. Soledad, Surfside Sushi, and Mission Beach etc.)
- Weekend backpacking/hiking trips to San Bernardino National Forest
- Visits to Disneyland, Sea World, Wild Animal Park, Six Flags etc.
- Road trips during long weekends and breaks, to places like the Grand Canyon or Moab
- Yosemite camping trips
- San Diego Harbor Cruises
- Whale Watching
- Baja Surf trips
- Snowboarding/Skiing Trips to Mammoth and Tahoe (December - March)
- Paintball games
- And lots more!
